Why we do what we do

Watch to hear Q Music Shop Founder, Phillip, explain why he does what he does.
Music is beautiful and the making of instruments should be beautiful as well. Unfortunately many instruments of music are created in sweatshops with deplorable conditions. These disgusting buildings are staffed mostly by ill treated laborers with sub-par wages if any, and of course no benefits. There are professional and skilled laborers that have been assigned in their nations to work in conditions unfit for American animals.
We love music and created Q Music Shop to showcase and encourage humane business and eliminate slave labor in music. We strive to insure that all products we sell are created in quality work environments and by paid employees. Please stop by and check out our storefront. Or, if there isn't a product you would like to purchase but would like to do something to support our goals, consider making a donation. We pledge to use all donated assets to help change this world for the better. Thank you for visiting our site and we hope to see you in store soon.
We were founded because of our love for music. We exist to feed your need for it. We are helping you to change the world through music!

D'Addario
Great news! I just got word back from D'Addario. Q Music Shop is now a D'Addario dealer!
This is exciting for many reasons. The top reason is that D'Addario products are fantastic. I can't wait for the first stock shipment to get here. The next reason is that D'Addario as a company has clearly shown it's commitment to fair trade, domestic production, and just taking care of people. Really, even the promotional swag they send out is made in the U.S. and directly labelled as a sweatshop free product.
I could rant for a while about how great this company is, but I should just let you hear it from them directly. Go check them out at DAddario.com and, while you're there, if you happen to see something that you need then let me know and I'll tack it on to an order for you!
